New Directors Needed

We are looking for new Board members who have a genuine interest in helping to provide good quality, affordable homes for local people.

You will be willing to accept some responsibility and enjoy working as a member of a team. You will like people, be well-organised and reliable and familiar with using email and online resources.

The role is unpaid.

We are particularly looking for volunteers who have one or more of the following:

• Practical skills. Perhaps you enjoy DIY or have a background as a tradesperson. We use contractors to do repairs on the flats but it is often necessary for a Director to visit a flat to look at a problem reported by a resident and assess what needs to be done.

• IT skills. We are currently working on our website but need someone who will help to keep it updated and perhaps help us to make more use of social media.

• People skills. We don’t provide support services to our residents but we do go to see them when they have (or are causing) a problem and give appropriate advice.
